Get Creative
The great thing about artwork is that it is taps
into each person's creative side and opens up all
kinds of possibilities. Not wanting to put any limits
upon each student's imagination, we are encouraging
each person to work with whatever medium they feel
comfortable with:
- |
posters
may be created with paint, ink, pencil, charcoal,
watercolours, felt pens, oils, chalk, etc. |
- |
have
a talent for digital? you can also create
a poster on your computer ... just make sure
it's original |

want to create something 10 feet high ...

| Entry
Guidelines |
Images
taken of posters should be no larger than
2,000 pixels in width or height and a maximum
of 4 MB for the file size.
A half decent digital camera will be sufficient
for taking pictures of each Poster Entry.
Be sure to have proper lighting when taking
the picture, and try not to "crop"
any part of the image/poster when taking
the picture. The great thing about digital:
you can review it right away, and if you
don't like it, you can delete and take another
shot.
Please ensure you have reviewed the image
and it meets your satisfaction before sending.
If you are a teacher submitting a number
of files on behalf of your students, please
send one email (and attached poster image
file) per entry, along with the requisite
details noted below.
|
IMPORTANT
When sending a Poster Entry by email ...
don't forget to
Include The File/Image Attachment! ;) |
In the body of your email, please include the following:
| -
Your Full Name, Age & Grade |
| -
Your School's Name |
| -
Your Teacher's Name |
-
School Location
(Address, City, State/Prov, Postal/Zip
Code, Country) |

Note: winning entries, and possibly a sampling of
"contender" entries may also be posted
up in the Summits Of Canada Gallery of photos, in
